“I have always loved combining the comforting sweetness of a traditional vanilla flan with the rich, woody character of hazelnut. For this creation, we worked with a textured homemade hazelnut praline, delicately enhanced with a touch of fleur de sel to awaken the taste buds. The sweet pastry, carefully baked to achieve a crunchy and caramelized crust, encases an incredibly light vanilla cream. It’s a comforting culinary journey full of contrasts.” — Jeffrey Cagnes

The tasting experience at Cupra City Garage:
To enhance the creaminess of the hazelnut and the fresh saltiness of the fleur de sel, ask our barista to prepare a hot Latteor Cappuccinofor you. The comforting notes and silky texture of the milk foam pair wonderfully with the richness of the hazelnut praline.

This hazelnut flan expresses all its subtleties when enjoyed at the ideal temperature. Take it out of the refrigerator approximately 15 minutes before serving. This will allow the hazelnut praline to regain its flowing texture and the vanilla cream to reveal its full smoothness in the mouth.

Important recommendation:Do not heat it under any circumstances, so as not to excessively liquefy the praline.
